I will never forget when, as a young girl, my mum guided me through a Yoga Nidra. After the practice it felt like I had woken from an 8 hour sleep, my mind and body was completely relaxed. As I entered into stressful situation in my life I would drop into the practice of relaxing mind and body.
We always had yoga videos at home, and before long my mum and I would be going to the studio together to practice and move.
It was my mum who encouraged me to pursue yoga teaching, and I have never looked back almost a decade after being qualified I am forever grateful for the practice, and my mum who pointed me in the right direction.
